World War II
As you all know, war is a period where most inventions happen. This is because every country is competing with each other to build more and better weapons and defenses. The world war II period is an example of such a situation. In this period, rockets were improved with better accuracy and firepower, further improvements were made to guns, and tanks were improved, equipped with shells. Aircraft was also made better and faster, as were gunboats and submarines.
As you all know, at the end of world war II signalled the start of a new age: the nuclear age, following the invention of the nuclear bomb and major advancements in molecular sciences.
This age improved a lot of things as it provides large amounts of energy. For example the nuclear engine was invented in this nuclear age.

Well as the title says, i will be blogging on defense technologies for my LA ace. Well to start off, we ask ourselves this question: When were the first weapons and defenses introduced?
The first weapons generally came with the stone age, where humans discovered that stone can be used to assist in their work. The bow and arrow was invented during this period. The next advancement is the bronze age, where swords and daggers were introduced. This happened somewhere in the 3rd millennium BC, however we are not so particular about time now.
Right, now moving on to the improvements made to weapons. The third major advancement is in the iron age, where humans "upgraded" their bronze swords to iron swords, armour was also invented during this period and the bow and arrow was improved, with iron replacing stone for arrowheads.
The next major advancement in weapons' technology is the discovery of gunpowder and with them came the guns and cannons. This is getting closer to the modern age. The cannons replaced catapults and other ancient war machines.
Following that comes the World War I and the invention of gunships, submarines, blimps and aircraft. Improvements were also made to guns and machine guns and sniper rifles were introduced. The tank was also introduced in this period but it is only until world war two that it actually had a large use.

Hi. I finally understood what we are suppose to do for LA blog ACE: Post 3-5 blog posts about a particular topic. Well, i think i should start now since it's Monday already, and i will very possibly fail Timeliness. I also realized that the music player is covering part of the blog posts. Please bear with it and highlight the words if the words cannot be seen.

Well as there are no tasks available for kinaesthstic and only one task for naturalistic, i am going to do a task on my third skill, intrapersonel.
Which character would you like to play in the movie version of the novel? Explain.
I would like to play Atticus in the movie version of the novel. This is because i like Atticus's righteous ways and he always seem to be able to answer his children in such a way that he is not so harsh yet his children understand and feel bad about what they have done.

First of all, lets start on a little background of the mockingbird.
Mocking birds are a group of birds Mimidae family. They are known for the habit of mimicking the songs of other birds and the sounds of insects and amphibians, often loudly and in rapid succession.
The mockingbird eats ripe berries and garden insects.
Habitat of Mockingbird
Conclusion
As the mockingbird eats garden insects and berries, their habitat would most likely have thickets, farmlands and desert brushs, as these areas are where berries grow and garden insects live. Thus, i conclude that Maycomb has thickets and desert brushs. As no farmlands are mentioned in TKAM, i do not think there are any in Maycomb.

This is my MI chart, as you can see, i am at a tie for Naturalistic and kinaesthetic. Which (supposedly) means that i am more of a nature lover n body smart guy and not much of a linguistic person, that is, IF this test is accurate.
While i am not saying that this is not true, as i do admit that i am not quite good in languages (which would probably explain why i got a C6 in chinese). I feel that this MI test is not accurate as it is just 40 questions and someone can just choose anything they want to get a high score. The questions are also not representative of the whole theme itself. For example whether you have a pet does not mean you are a naturalist or not. Thus i feel that this MI test is not accurate.
